Guilt Free Banana Muffins

Whether you are trying to eat clean and looking for something different for breakfast, lunch or a clean snack.

Or during these rainy summer days its hard to know what to give the kids for their meals that they won't be bored with. Let face it how many times have we heard "I HATE that dinner already the past month. 

Molloys Lifestyle Pharmacies are here to give you some ideas for healthy treats and recipes. This muffin recipe is suitable for any meal or snack just adjust the optional ingredients to suit your own tastes. 


Pre-heat Oven to 160° To Make 6 Muffins:



1 x mashed banana

1 x tsp of baking powder

Dash of honey

2 x eggs

1 x cup of Benevits Organic Pinhead Oatmeal (Available at Molloys Lifestyle Pharmacies)

1 tsp of Benevits Ground Cinnamon (Available at Molloys Lifestyle Pharmacies)


Whisk all the above ingredients together and...


Add the following to suit your tastes...

Handful of berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Handful of dark chocolate nibs

Chopped pear


If the mixture feels a little thick don't be afraid to add more oatmeal! 

Place in a muffin dish or muffin cases for 20 mins.
