  • Vicks First Defence
  • Vicks First Defence is designed as a nasal spray to better target what’s considered as the main sites of infection: the back of the nose and the top of the throat.
  • It’s a medical device intended to be used at the first symptoms of an emerging cold, or upon exposure to cold viruses, to reduce the ability of cold viruses to replicate in the nose.
  • The micro-gel formula traps the cold viruses that start to develop at the back of the nose and helps reduce the chances of them developing.
  • The micro gel formula inactivates the cold viruses reducing their ability to multiply and spread the infection
  • It then contributes to a nasal washout effect to flush out cold virus by blowing your nose or swallowing.

How to Use

Apply 2-3 sprays per nostril immediately within the 14-36 hours after feeling the 1st signs of a cold such as a tickle at the back of your throat, or sneezing. Use up to 4 times a day. Avoid inhaling deeply.

For best results continue to use for 2 days after symptoms subside.

Not suitable for children under 12.

Vicks First Defence 15ml

Unlike medicines that help relieve bothersome cold symptoms, First defence nasal spray works at the first signs of a cold by targeting the viruses to help stop the cold in its tracks before they symptoms get worse.

When used at the first signs of a cold, First Defence nasal spray acts at the back of the nose directly where the cold virus takes hold and starts to develop. It traps, inactivates and helps your body naturally remove the cold virus, before it develops into a full blown cold.

When using First Defence Nasal spray, you may experience incresed nasal discharge (runny nose) or temporary stinging. These are normal signs that the product is working. They are not harmful to your health and will not last for long.
