If you meet any of the criteria below you are eligible for a Free Flu Vaccine:
are 65 years of age and over
are pregnant
are a child aged 2 to 12 years
are an adult or child aged 6 months or older with a long-term health condition like : chronic heart/liver disease, chronic renela failure, respiratory disease, chronic neurological disease, diabetes mellitus haemoglobinopathies, morbid obesity, immunosuppression due to disease or treatment (including treatment for cancer), are a child with a moderate to severe neurodevelopmental disorder,
were born with Down syndrome
live in a nursing home or other long-term care facility
work in healthcare
living with someone who has a health condition that puts them at higher risk of flu
a carer for someone who has a health condition that puts them at higher risk of flu
People who are in regular contact with pigs, poultry or waterfowl should get the flu vaccine.
If you are in an at-risk group, you should get the flu vaccine during Autumn.
If you cannot get a free flu vaccine
If you cannot get a free flu vaccine, you can still get one at a pharmacy or GP surgery. But you will need to pay for it.
